Electric Pink Wedding Inspiration – When planning the concept of this editorial shooting, the wedding planners of Weddings On Demand had a clear idea in mind:
In the new millennium, hot-pink was elected as a symbol of neo-feminism, from singers committed to female empowerment to feminist-inspired webzines: hot-pink is everywhere! At the center of the shooting we wanted a contemporary woman perfectly inserted in a modern setting.
We carefully chose our model, we wanted someone who’d look fierce and strong, but was also able to express her fragilities and imperfections instead of hiding them. All the elements present in this shooting have a modern cut and are in absolute contrast with the chosen location.

The Forum of Augustus, infact is the symbol of a city (Rome) that wants to be reborn, has allowed us to pay homage to culture, and has taken us on an exciting journey. The contrast between ancient Rome and the modern and unconventional set-up, is a wish to find in our roots the strength to break out of the now obsolete schemes.
The serpentine table is the beginning of a new trend, enough with round or imperial tables, giving movement with the sinuous curves of this table was fundamental for us.
The absence of tablecloths leaves the white lacquered finish uncovered, putting it in contrast with the pink metal chairs, which instead recall the cutlery and other details. Despite the desired contrast, everything is in absolute balance. This is to emphasize once again, that habits can change, thoughts can evolve, and contrasts can lead to a new balance.
We find this concept in every detail, in the chosen jewels (original vintage but with amethyst stones and not with the classic diamond), in the stationary (with modern cut and colors, but with elegance and classic details such as sealing wax), in the clothes (wonderful, important, but not white. We have specially chosen a pink dress to reclaim the freedom of being a woman.) and in the lights (we have combined two very classic crystal chandeliers with a decidedly modern hot-pink neon sign).
The flowers chosen follow exactly the palette and style of the shooting, here too there is a contrast between “modern” flowers such as Anthuriums and more classic ones such as nebiolina, which however we find stabilized and colored. The set-ups on the table are streamlined and modern to balance the cloud created above them.
